Install RenderKu App
Shopify merchants can use RenderKu by installing the app from Shopify app store.
Choose Shopify Notification Template
After installation, you can go to Shopify notifications email templates page and select a template to use for Shopify notifications emails. For starters, we recommend testing with "Order Confirmation" email first.
Generally the templates are carefully crafted to handle all the dynamic liquid variables for you so most of the changes you would make would be to customize the colors and logos according to your brand.
You can also preview the email output by selecting Preview tab in top right corner. Save email once you're ready. After email is saved, we will start generating assets for the email (before you can export email html). The whole process will generally be done within a minute or so.
Export HTML
To export html for email, you will need a paid plan. RenderKu is designed to be use for long-term so we recommend upgrading to annual plans, which are 4 times cheaper than monthly plans. To upgrade, go to billing overview page.
If you're already on a paid plan, go to emails page and right click on email. Then select Export HTML.
In most cases, we recommend selecting Export Html File to get HTML code for email.
Update Shopify Notification Email
Go to Shopify notifications emails and look for the notification email you're replacing.
For this example we're updating Order Confirmation email. Click Edit code button in top right and replace the email body with your exported HTML.
Then hit Save button in top right.
Once that is done, hit Preview in top right to view your email outlook and ensure everything is right.
Remember to also Send test email to your inbox to check how your email looks in live mode.
