No it will not trigger auto sync for linked emails. This setup is to prevent unexpected changes to emails due to the cascading nature of components. We do have an alternate way that allows you to push sync manually for emails linked with component.

How to trigger push sync for emails linked with component?

To trigger push sync for emails linked with component, go to email components page.

Select Push Sync Emails for component. This will trigger push sync for emails linked with component. For example, if your footer component is used by all your emails, this action will trigger and push sync for all your emails. In turn, it will sync your emails with connected platforms.
